Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, and no clear date as to when learning will resume as normal, we have taken the initiative to implement an e-learning solution to ensure our learners can still get the education they need using digital channels, as they maintain social distancing.
The objective of this platform is to continue the education of our learners, with a focus on completing the syllabus, while taking care of our health by taking the necessary measures advised by the Ministry of Health.
This platform will contain virtual classrooms with lessons following the guidelines laid out in the Competency Based Curriculum (CBC). The 3 virtual classrooms will be:
- Playgroup/Reception Class
- Pre-Primary 1 (formerly kindergarten)
- Pre-Primary 2 (formerly pre-unit)
Each class will have access to:
- A timetable for the learning plan.
- Weekly live and online classes for the learners to interact in real-time with the teachers.
- Recorded videos of trained and fully-qualified Early Childhood Development (ECD) teachers teaching specific topics in specific subjects.
- Printable PDF Homework Files/Worksheets for the learners.
- A comment section for parents/guardians to pose questions to the teachers on behalf of the learners.
- Weekend activities to be performed by the learners with help from their parents/guardians.

We are aware that not all schools may be in a position to provide such a service. For that reason, we are inviting external parents and learners from other pre-schools to join us too.
